Information we collect

Information you provide. When you request an estimate through the form on our contact page, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about your project. You may also contact us directly by phone or email. If you text or leave a voicemail, that content is part of your inquiry.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages visited — including visits to our Resources guides and other informational pages — typically in routine server logs used for security, reliability, and troubleshooting. We do not run advertising pixels, newsletter pop-ups, or sell browsing data to advertisers. Resources articles themselves do not ask you for personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies. Our own pages do not use advertising cookies. Fonts are self-hosted through Next.js (not loaded from a third-party font CDN at runtime). The estimate form is embedded from Housecall Pro and may set its own cookies or local storage as needed to run the form securely. Your browser settings control cookies; blocking third-party cookies may limit the form.

How we use your information

• Schedule walk-throughs and perform contracted work
• Prepare estimates, invoices, and project communications
• Meet legal, accounting, insurance, and licensing obligations
• Protect the website against abuse and technical failures

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Service providers

We use trusted companies to operate the site and our business. They process information only as needed to provide their services to us:

• Housecall Pro — hosts the estimate request form and helps us manage scheduling and customer communications. Information you submit through the form is processed by Housecall Pro on our behalf. See their privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
• Vercel — hosts this website. See Vercel's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
• Google Places API — when enabled on our server, we may request our own public Business Profile rating and review count so the site stays accurate. That call is server-side only (no Google tracking pixel in your browser). See Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights or customers, or with professional advisors (such as an accountant or insurer) under confidentiality obligations.

Communications

If you request an estimate or hire us, we (or Housecall Pro acting for us) may contact you by phone, email, or text about your inquiry or project. Message and data rates may apply to texts. You can ask us to use a different channel, or stop non-essential messages, by emailing office@drywallofri.com or calling (401) 280-4222. Transactional messages about an active job may still be necessary.

How long we keep information

We keep customer and inquiry information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, accounting, insurance, and licensing obligations. Server logs are retained according to our host's ordinary practices and then deleted or anonymized.

Security

We use HTTPS for this website and rely on our service providers' security controls for forms and hosting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please avoid sending sensitive financial details (such as full payment card numbers) through the estimate form or email.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we have about you, to request a correction, or to ask that we delete your information where we are not required to keep it. To do so, email office@drywallofri.com or call (401) 280-4222. Depending on where you live, applicable state law may give you additional rights; if you make a request, we will explain what we can do and any limits that apply.

Those are outbound links only — we do not load Facebook, Angi, Google advertising/tracking pixels, or other social/ad pixels on this website. Their privacy practices are their own. We are not responsible for content or policies on sites we do not control.

Business location

Drywall of RI is a service-area business. We do not publish a public storefront street address on this website. We serve customers across Rhode Island and travel to your project location.

Children

This website is intended for adults seeking contracting services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
